Alan went to the dentist today for the first time in who knows how long! I was really concerned about how it would go, but the dentist supposedly was really nice. If Alan liked her, she must've been good. His past experiences with dentists apparently haven't been the greatest. I was very happy to find a dentist that saw him so quickly! Actually, he did all the work, so I should give credit where credit is due : )
Sooo...the dentist at least complimented him of how well he had been brushing and flossing, which apparently was a first for him. Normally even if he brushes a lot, dentists still say he isn't brushing. He brushes his teeth more than me, lol. Anyhow, he had sooo many cavities!! She redid his front ones so his teeth are nice and white now. He has been beaming ever since. I am so happy for him!! Seriously, I don't think I've seen him smile with his teeth that much...so I'm happy.
This was also the first time either of us have really seen our insurance actually do something!! It covered more than $2.00 lol. Our dental coverage was like 90%. THANK GOD! If it wasn't, we'd be out a good $1500 at least, lol.
Other crazy weird news...our rent still hasn't gone through...? I don't know what's going on, but it says that it has and we only owe $6.27 or something. But the strange thing is it hasn't gone through in our account yet...hmm....very strange and peculiar. Oh well. Just to be on the safe side, Alan and I aren't touching that account for a while longer. It isn't just a delay and such...it doesn't even show that it's a pending transaction! Weird....maybe we've caught a lucky break? Normally our rent transactions go through right away. Oh well.
Well the next two work days we will be at the dentist, lol. Alan still has quite a bit of work to get done, but he'll look even more handsome with pretty teeth! He is even getting excited to go to Afghanistan again. He's excited to work out and get his teeth pearly white too. Ah, I'm glad he's feeling better about going. Our apartment is slowly getting packed up!! Yayy!! Anyhow, that's all for now folks! Good night.

Yay for white teeth! I'm glad to hear that Alan didn't have a horrible experience this time. While I was reading your post I kept thinking of my dad. He has to get his teeth cleaned soon and he doesn't want to go. lol He hates the dentist. That is weird about your rent. Have you called the bank to see what is going on with that? I hope it is just a lucky break for you two. I'm sure it would be nice if you have that extra cash :D I'll keep my fingers crossed for that. lol Well, I guess I'll talk to you later dear! ReplyDeleteLol I am glad he has white teeth, but that sucks you had to sit on the ground for hours on end with the dog and Britt... lol your poor backside... I think nayt needs to get his teeth done again, i know i do... its been forever... but no offence to your mom but dentist suck! lol love ya!
